Tom has 40 years specialising in the commercial property market and practicing in Brisbane City and Metropolitan areas. He understands the commercial property industry.
Tom began his Real Estate career in 1973 after leaving his first job with the C.S.I.R.O initially taking up a position as a leasing manager with Gregory Real Estate. Tom was responsible for many projects and city properties. These included the TC Beirne Building and Focus Point Arcade complex in Fortitude Valley’s Chinatown area. He was involved in many leasing and sales properties all over Brisbane in the last 4 decades. After gaining his full license in 1974 Tom was an active member of the Commercial chapter of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland. He assisted with annual commercial training lectures whilst a member.
In 1982 Tom established his own Commercial Real Estate practice in Spring Hill. He specialized in all Retail, Commercial and Industrial properties in inner City and outer Brisbane.
He formed a short period of partnership in 1992 with Tony Colton and later joined in a corporate partnership in forming the first franchise operation of LJ Hooker Commercial Brisbane. Tom sold off his share of the partnership of LJ Hooker and then established the Raine & Horne Commercial Metro Franchise in CBD Brisbane.
In 2008 Tom joined as a Commercial agent consultant with PEP Property Transactions. In May 2013 Tom joined Blocksidge & Ferguson as a Commercial Consultant and continues on with all aspects of Commercial Real Estate leasing and sales.
