A little about me

Paul formally commenced his career in commercial real estate in Brisbane in 1979 with commercial agency Bright Slater. He can now boast over 34 years experience in Sales, Leasing and Acquisitions of Commercial, Industrial, Retail and Special Projects.

In 1984 Paul was invited to join the international property firm of Hillier Parker May & Rowden. Progressing from the role of CBD leasing negotiator, Paul became heavily involved in investment sales throughout the South East corner of Queensland. He became a Partner of the firm in 1986. Following his many work related expeditions to Japan he acted on behalf of a number of large Japanese investment companies and Banks in the acquisition of a number of Australian investment/development properties. He also became involved in tourism-related sales throughout Queensland with the focus on high-rise residential and broad-acre projects on the Gold Coast. Paul travelled regularly to Asia and was able to establish excellent business contacts, a number of which remain active today.

In 1989 Paul commenced a boutique consultancy that focused on advisory and property acquisitions and was retained in a consulting role for a number of major projects, which included:

– Oasis on Broadbeach Shopping and Hotel Resort
– Sunlakes Golf Course & Villa Resort, Gold Coast for Sundai Corporation
– Capital Hill, George Street, Brisbane for Australian Guarantee Corporation
– Englobo land sales on behalf of Emanuel Group and Elders Finance

In 1993, Paul joined Samut & Co Commercial Real Estate and remained with the boutique agency until late 1999. Paul was involved in general sales & leasing, although, in the latter part of 1997 he concentrated his efforts on the industrial sector.

Paul has participated in various property developments with his family which enjoys a 50 plus year history in construction and development in Brisbane.

Paul’s reputation as an innovator and problem solver possessing sound strategic acumen and respected marketing skill has ensured a continuous workload meeting the individual needs of his real estate clients.
