Desk bookings

We have 23 desks in the space divided into four groups but all located in the open plan office space.

You can book a desk for a month and extend on a rolling term as you like.

Meeting room hire

Block Work Co-working has a modern meeting room available for hire during business hours.

It features a curved boardroom table with Eames leather replica chairs and a 55″ wall-mounted Smart TV.

Access to the room is directly from the building foyer so your guests don’t have to walk through the co-working space.

It is perfect for meetings, consultations, interviews, presentations, training, seminars, photoshoots and more.

FAQs

  • Do I get my own office? We do not have private offices.
  • Will someone be onsite to help me? No as our space doesn’t have an onsite manager. Every member manages their own administration and will need to clean up after themselves (including in the kitchen).
  • Is coworking right for me? An open plan office isn’t for everyone. There will likely be background chatter and other noises as people go about their work. We recommend bringing a set of headphones to help dull any distracting noises. We’re also dog friendly so if you dislike dogs or are allergic we may not be the right choice for you.
  • How does Membership work?  Membership fees are paid in advance. You can pay via BPay, credit card or by EFT from your bank account. You’re also welcome to pre-pay your membership term in full if you wish to.
  • What hours can I access my desk? Membership gives you 24/7 access to the space.
  • What if I need to cancel my membership? We ask that you give us 7 days’ notice.
  • I hear you’re dog friendly. How does it work? We sure are! We do have some rules that dog members need to abide by including update to date on vaccinations, properly socialised, well behaved (no barking), and being well suited to an office environment. If your pooch annoys other members or uses the office as a toilet, we will ask you to leave them at home.
  • What if I lose my key? Your first key is included in your membership fee. However, if you lose it there will be a $50 + GST charge to replace it.
  • What’s the deal with printing? We have a multi-function colour copier/scanner/printer onsite but you’ll need to BYO paper and other consumables.
